Device actions
Restart or shut down with a warning, cancel it, wake a device through a neighbour, send a message, or collect now, on one device or many.

Device actions need RevoAgent 0.11 (except Collect now). Use them from a device's Tools tab, or for many devices at once from RMM → Device actions.

| Restart, shut down | Whoever is signed in sees your message and a countdown (1 minute to 4 hours). The result says when it's scheduled; the device's next check-in after the restart shows it happened. |
| Cancel a restart or shutdown | Stops a countdown RevoAgent started. |
| Send a message | A pop-up for everyone signed in at the device, shown until they close it. |
| Wake | An online device of the same customer, in the same office or on the same subnet, sends a wake-on-LAN packet to the sleeping one. The sleeping device's network card and firmware must allow wake-on-LAN. |
| Collect now | The device reports its inventory and state at once. |
From 10 devices, or for a whole site, customer or the workspace, type the action's word to confirm (restart,
shut down, message, ...). Technicians act on up to 25 devices at a time, owners and admins on up to 500. A device
that's offline picks up a restart or shutdown only within 30 minutes, and a message within an hour, so a laptop
opened the next morning isn't restarted by surprise.
Every action is in the audit log with who sent it and why.
