Modules
What each Revo module adds, how a module is turned on, and what happens when one is off for the workspace or a customer.
Updated
Revo is one platform made of RevoCore and modules you use on their own or together. RevoCore is always there: customers, sites, contacts, devices running RevoAgent, the team, integrations (a customer's Microsoft 365 tenant is linked once here, and its people become contacts whatever modules are on), the knowledge base, automations, the credential vault and Revo AI. Each module adds its own pages and features on top.
| Module | What it adds |
|---|---|
| RevoRMM | Device monitoring and alerts, policies, patching and Windows upgrades, scripts, network discovery, remote access, firewall pages and RMM reports |
| RevoPSA | Tickets and the service desk, schedule, time, contracts and billing, estimates, purchase orders, leads and the customer portal's tickets and invoices |
| RevoDocs | IT documentation: pages, structured records and a knowledge base, shared with the customer portal when you choose |
| RevoCloud | Microsoft 365 for every customer in one place: users, groups, mailboxes, licences and admins, management actions and offboarding, the tenant's policies and Secure Score, and a PowerShell console on the tenant |
| RevoSecure | Security posture: findings and the action plan, alerts, vulnerabilities, assessments, the ideal state (baselines), compliance, attack surface, code and apps, agent fixes, security reports and the change history, and the Microsoft 365 assessment |
Which modules you have
Your workspace's modules come with its subscription. Settings → Modules lists every module, whether it's on, and the customers it's switched off for. To add one, use Ask about adding it on that page.
Switching a module off for one customer
A module your workspace has is on for every customer unless you switch it off in that customer's Settings → Modules. Switch it back on, or let it follow the workspace again, at any time.
What "off" means
When a module is off for the workspace, or for one customer, nothing of it is left for that scope:
- its pages, sidebar entries, settings, overview sections, device tabs and columns, search results, onboarding steps and quick actions don't show;
- its API answers "not found", and lists across customers leave out the customers it's off for;
- its scheduled work (assessments, monitoring, reports, syncs) doesn't run, and its notifications and webhook events aren't sent;
- Revo AI doesn't offer its tools.
Nothing is deleted: turning the module back on brings its data back. Devices keep reporting their own facts to RevoCore whatever modules are on.
The knowledge base always shows every module, so you can read about one before you add it.
