Customer portal

Give a client read-only access to their own organisation's overview, shared findings and reports.

The customer portal gives someone at a client, for example their onsite IT person, read-only access to their organisation only, under your branding.

Turn it on

  1. Open the customer's Customer settings → Customer portal.
  2. Turn on Portal access enabled.
  3. Under Portal users, enter their name and work email and click Invite to portal. Revo confirms the invitation email was sent (or tells you it couldn't be) and shows the link. They get an email to set a password, valid for 7 days. If the email doesn't arrive, copy the link and send it yourself.

Verify the customer's domain before sharing a portal. Manage or deactivate portal users in Settings → Team.

What portal users see

Portal users land in their organisation's workspace with three pages:

PageShows
Security overviewScore, grade and the overview of their organisation
FindingsOnly findings marked Show to customer
ReportsClient reports (not internal ones such as the action plan or internal progress)

They never see other customers, the portfolio, your settings, team or billing, devices, patching, identity, integrations, the AI analyst, internal action plans or hidden findings, and they have no customer switcher. The API itself pins every portal user to their one customer.

Hiding findings from the customer

Open a finding and turn off Show to customer to leave it out of the portal and client reports. Hiding is a full confidentiality boundary: the finding disappears from scores, totals, charts, history and evidence the customer sees, and related findings on the same host are hidden with it. New findings related to hidden ones start hidden.

Turning it off

Turning the portal off, or archiving the customer, blocks their sign-in at once. Their accounts are kept, so turning it back on restores access.
