Branding and sharing

White-label reports and the customer portal with your logo and colours, and control what each customer sees.

Updated

On this page

Reports and the customer portal carry your brand. Set it once in Settings → Workspace & branding (owners and admins).

Brand settings

  • Logo (see below);
  • primary colour;
  • report footer;
  • support email, website and phone, shown on report covers and in the "How we can help" section of prospect reports;
  • paper size: US Letter or A4.

These brand every generated PDF and the app for portal users. Click Save changes afterwards.

Upload a PNG, JPEG or WebP and an editor opens:

  • Drag the box or its handles to crop. Arrow keys move it; Shift + arrow keys resize it. Trim empty edges crops transparent or blank borders.
  • The logo is scaled to fit 800 × 300 pixels (choose smaller or larger) and saved as PNG, or as WebP when PNG would be too big. You can also choose WebP or JPEG and set the quality.
  • The size readout is live, and the editor lowers quality or size until the file fits, so it never fails to save.
  • Previews show it on the dark report cover and on a light background.

A wide logo with a transparent background works best. SVG logos are kept as they are, up to 500 KB; for a larger SVG, export a PNG from your design tool.

Control what the customer sees

Every finding has a Show to customer switch. Turn it off to leave the finding out of client reports and the customer portal entirely: not in scores, totals, charts, history or evidence.

  • Related findings (on the same host, or naming it) are hidden together, so nothing leaks through a neighbour.
  • New findings related to hidden ones start hidden.
  • Internal reports (action plan, internal progress) still include hidden findings.

See Customer portal for what portal users see.

Coverage notices

If some checks couldn't run in the latest assessment, every report shows a Coverage notice listing them. Don't remove it from a report you share: it's what stops a reader treating "not checked" as "no issues".
