RevoCloud overview

What RevoCloud does for each customer's Microsoft 365, how it uses the tenant link every module shares, and what changes when it's on or off.

Updated

On this page

RevoCloud is Revo's module for running your customers' cloud services. Microsoft 365 is its first: one page per customer for the tenant's users, groups, mailboxes, licences, admins and policies, and the actions you take on them (block sign-in, reset a password, change licences and groups, offboard someone).

A customer's tenant is linked once, in the customer's Settings → Integrations, and every module uses that link. With only RevoPSA on, the link still keeps the customer's directory current: their mailboxes become contacts and their licence counts are there for billing. RevoSecure assesses the same tenant. Turning RevoCloud on needs no new connection: it reads the tenant at the next daily sync, or straight away with Sync now on its page.

Where to find it

  • All customers → Microsoft 365 lists every customer's tenant with its users, licences in use, MFA coverage, issues and when it last synced, then the people who need attention.
  • A customer → Microsoft 365 opens that tenant, with tabs: Overview, Users, Groups, Mailboxes, Licences, Admins, Policies, Secure Score and Settings (and PowerShell, once it's set up).

What it checks for each user

Each user gets a list of what's wrong with them, worst first: no MFA, an administrator relying on text messages, external mail forwarding, a dormant account, a licence on a blocked account, and more. What counts is the customer's tenant policy: your workspace's defaults (Microsoft 365 → Tenant policy), which any customer can change on its Settings tab, including its break-glass accounts.

Read-only until you allow changes

Out of the box RevoCloud only reads. To change tenants from Revo, turn on management access for your workspace. Every change is recorded in the tenant's history and the audit log.

Turning it off

With RevoCloud off for a customer, its Microsoft 365 pages disappear for that customer. The tenant stays linked, and contacts and licence counts keep updating for the modules that use them.
