The sidebar
The sidebar shows the same areas, in the same order and under the same names, in the portfolio (all customers) and inside a customer's workspace. An area that only exists in one of them is simply absent from the other.
Each group belongs to Revo itself (RevoCore) or to one module, and a module's group shows only while the module is on for your workspace, or for the customer you're in.
| Group | Areas | From |
|---|---|---|
| (top) | Overview (the home page, or the customer's overview); Customers in the portfolio | Revo |
| Service desk | Tickets, Schedule, Time, Contracts, Billing | RevoPSA |
| Devices | Devices, Firewalls | Revo |
| RMM | Monitoring, Patching, Scripts | RevoRMM |
| Security | Action plan (in a customer), Alerts, Logs, Findings, Vulnerabilities, Agent fixes, Identity, Attack surface (in a customer), Code & apps, Compliance, Assessments | RevoSecure |
| Records | Reports, Change history | Revo |
| (bottom) | Settings, Help & docs, Support | Revo |
Click a group's heading to fold it away; the page you're on stays visible under it.
- Only what's in use. Areas whose module isn't active are hidden: no Identity without Microsoft 365, no Agent fixes until remediation is turned on for a customer. Show inactive modules in the sidebar's menu brings them back; Add capabilities lists what you can still set up. Settings, Help & docs and Support are never hidden.
- Pages you don't have permission for are hidden.
- Pin the areas you use most: they move to a Pinned group at the top. Pins and the collapsed or expanded state are saved for you.
- Counts show next to Alerts (new alerts) and Patching (updates waiting for approval).
- Hover an area for a one-line description of what it's for.
The AI analyst's conversations are under ⌘K → AI conversations, and Ask AI (⌘J) opens it beside any page.
The home page and a customer's overview
Overview starts with headline numbers from each module you use: customers and devices, open tickets, monitoring alerts and customers at risk. Below them, each module adds its sections: Service desk (the tickets to look at first and this week's time), Device management (monitoring alerts and patching), Customers (every customer with a column per module) and RevoSecure's security sections. Customize shows, hides and reorders the sections, for you only. A customer's overview works the same way, about that customer.
The customer switcher
The top of the sidebar shows where you are: your MSP and All customers, or the customer's name, grade and status. Click it to search customers, open a recent one, or Show archived. The × leaves the customer and returns you to the portfolio version of the page you were on.
- Switching keeps you in the same area. From one customer's Devices, choosing another opens that customer's Devices.
- Leaving an area that only exists inside a customer goes to the nearest portfolio page: the action plan to Compliance, customer settings to Customers, the overview and attack surface to Home.
The command palette
Press ⌘K (Ctrl+K on Windows and Linux) anywhere. It searches customers, devices, tickets (by subject or #number,
with RevoPSA on), people, open findings, vulnerabilities, domains and assets, goes to any page (including settings pages and Agent fixes), and offers
common actions such as Approve updates… and Agent fixes. Inside a customer it searches that customer first. Typing a question offers Ask AI: "…", which
asks the AI analyst about the page you're on.
Keyboard shortcuts
| Keys | Does |
|---|---|
| ⌘K / Ctrl+K | Command palette |
| ⌘J / Ctrl+J | Open or close the Ask AI panel |
[ and ] | Previous or next customer, staying in the same area |
| Esc | Close a quick look, dialog or panel |
Quick look
Most lists open details in a quick look: a panel on the right, so you keep your place in the list. Click a finding anywhere (the findings list, Act now, an asset's findings, the change timeline) to see what's wrong in one sentence, the evidence, the fix as steps, the risk and recent history. You can change its status, assign it or create a PSA ticket from the panel.
Quick looks also open from attack-surface tiles, asset rows, the dark web scan and action-plan steps. Opening something from inside a quick look adds a Back step. ⌘-click (Ctrl-click), or the arrow at the end of a row, opens the full page instead.
Links and bookmarks
Filters, tabs and sorting live in the address bar, so you can bookmark or share a filtered list with a colleague.
Links from before customer workspaces existed (for example /customers/<id>?tab=… or /agents/<id>) redirect to the
matching page.
Plan badges
Next to your MSP name, a badge appears only when the plan needs attention: Trial · N days left, Trial ended, Payment past due or Subscription inactive. Owners can click it to open Settings → Billing.
